LIVERPOOL REJECT NAPOLI OFFER FOR SKRTEL

Liverpool have rejected a £10million offer from Napoli for defender Martin Skrtel.
Sportmail understands the offer was made on Tuesday night, but was instantly rebuffed by the Anfield club. Napoli are believed to be preparing an improved offer for the central-defender.

But as it stands, Brendan Rodgers is not prepared to allow any of his central defenders leave the club after Sebastien Coates suffered a serious knee injury which could keep him out for six months.
Napoli manager Rafa Benitez signed Skrtel for Liverpool in 2008, but will have to increase the offer significantly if he is to secure a successful reunion.
