CHELSEA SET TO BEAT LIVERPOOL TO ATSU'S SIGNATURE

Chelsea are set to sign Christian Atsu from Porto, pipping Liverpool to his signature.
Goal.com are reporting that the Stamford Bridge outfit is on the verge of signing the Ghanaian international while Liverpool miss out because they were unwilling to meet his £3.5 valuation.
Atsu, a winger by trade, would increase Jose Mourinho’s attacking options, especially with the recent arrival of Brazilian playmaker Willian who chose Chelsea over Tottenham Hotspur.
Atsu’s prospective arrival further clouds the futures of Juan Mata and Victor Moses who are struggling to make an impact in Mourinho’s team.
