MAN UNITED TURN TO SNEIJDER FOR MIDFIELD SOLUTION

Sneijder was linked with a move to United in the summer of 2012, before the Dutch international chose to sign up in Istanbul instead.
A Champions League winner with Inter Milan in 2010, Sneijder has also been previously mentioned in connection with a switch to Chelsea.
United now appear a more likely destination however, with news emerging Sneijder may be available for a fee in the region of £6 million.
That could well convince United manager David Moyes to make a move for the player, after having been thus far frustrated in attempts to strengthen the squad he inherited from Sir Alex Ferguson.
Moyes has seemingly identified the attacking midfield position as being in particular need of investment but previous targets Kevin Strootman and Thiago Alcantara have since joined AS Roma and Bayern Munich respectively.
