GANARU DISCHARGED FROM HOSPITAL

Kano Pillars head coach, Mohammed Baba Ganaru has been discharged from Hospital seven days after been involved in a brutal auto crash in Kaduna State.
The Nigerian champions were on their way back to Kano from Ilorin after they were sent out of the 2013 Federation cup losing 0-3 to Warri Wolves on July 31 at the Kwara State Stadium.
Pillars' vehicle had a tyre burst before colliding with a trailer parked by the road side in which Ganaru and his assistant, Kabir Baleria were seriously injured.
The duo were both taken to the Murtala Hospital in Kano, but Baleria left the third day as he was confirmed fit by the Doctor.
“I was discharged last night by 9pm after the Doctor certified me Ok to go home and I thank all the people that prayed for me when I was unconscious.
“I thank the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), the League Management Company (LMC), Kano Pillars' management, club owners, my players and my family for their love and I also want to appreciate all the sports reporters in Nigeria for their concern and I pray God will bless you all,”. Ganaru said to supersport.com on Thursday.
The Sai Masugida will travel to Ibadan this weekend to keep a date with 3SC for the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) week 24 rescheduled tie, but Ganaru will not be available for the crucial duel.
“I won't be available for our match in Ibadan, because I'm still recuperating, but I'm confident that my Boys would make me happy by beating the Oluyole Warriors,”. Ganaru added.
Kano Pillars are currently at the summit of the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) standings with 39 points.
