GOMIS SEEKS BUNDESLIGA MOVE

Lyon chairman Jean-Michel Aulas has revealed striker Bafetimbi Gomis wants to move to Germany, but they have not received any offers for him.
The striker has been linked with a move away from Lyon during the close-season - with Newcastle and Marseille both reported to be interested - however a move is yet to materialise.
Gomis has not appeared for the Ligue 1 club this season and has been limited to reserve team appearances to maintain his fitness.
Aulas conceded their attempts to keep the striker had been in vain and revealed the Bundesliga was the 28-year-old's preferred destination, despite a lack of interest from Germany.
"For a year and a half we talked with him and his agents to find a solution," he told French radio station RTL.
"Gomis refused six offers with Lyon because he wants to choose higher wages. He wished to go to a German club.
"Unfortunately, I have not had any offers from German clubs.
"It has never changed my mind about Bafetimbi, or the quality of the player."
Gomis joined Lyon in 2009 and has scored 50 goals in 141 league appearances.
