Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale only wants to join Real Madrid - and will block any attempts to divert him from his dream by Spurs and Manchester United.
Bale flew home from a 'break' in Spain to wait for Madrid's £85 million offer to be accepted and his camp have clearly told Spurs and United that he has
only one preference.
United are keen to snap up the Welsh wizard if the stand-off between Real and Spurs over the payment - and other delays - leads to a collapse.
However Bale will not entertain David Moyes's club as he is set on going to Spain for football reasons. He is willing to be patient until Spurs chairman Daniel Levy consents to the move.
The delay began when Tottenham missed out on Willian and Levy is keen to have his replacement signed before prices rise after the Bale fee is sealed.
United have been in contact with Spurs for Bale for the past few weeks and are happy to sit and wait in case Real lose patience and go elsewhere.
Moyes sees Bale as a 'bonus' and not central to his short-term or long-term spending plans. He will make an offer for Everton's Marouane Fellaini while fending off Chelsea's interest in Wayne Rooney.
