Ivory Coast coach Sabri Lamouchi has released his list of players for the final match day in the 2014 World Cup qualifying second round against Morocco holding in Abidjan on September 7, with Yaya Toure returning after a brief injury layoff and captain Didier Drogba to participate in his first official match with the Elephants since the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
Former Paris Saint Germain midfielder Siaka Tiene, who now plays for Montpellier, and FC Bale’s forward Serey Die figure on the list after they were recently sidelined due to injury issues.
Ivory Coast have qualified for the third and final round of the qualifying but Lamouchi intends to reconcile with fans and officials after his 4-1 debacle against Mexico in New Jersey friendly earlier this month, which torched off widespread criticism in the country about his true capability to lead the star-rich side to the upcoming World Cup.
