LAMBERT RELIEVED WITH BENTEKE PROGNOSIS

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has expressed his relief at finding out that Christian Benteke’s injury was not as bad as first feared.
Benteke, who netted 19 goals in 34 Premier League appearances last season, had to be helped off the pitch in Villa’s 1-0 win over Norwich City on Saturday with a hip problem.
Subsequent scans then revealed the striker will be out of action for up to six weeks due to a hip flexor issue.
This news has been greeted by Lambert though, as he felt the Belgium international may have been sidelined for longer.
"The medical people give you the best and worst-case scenario," he said.
"You are never quite sure until you hear from the professor.
"Thankfully it is not too serious. Maybe four, five, six weeks or so."
Benteke could miss up to six Premier League fixtures as Villa look to improve on a start to the season that has seen them collect six points from five games.
