BAYERN FACE AUGSBURG IN DFB -POKAL

Holders Bayern Munich have been handed a potentially tricky tie at fellow Bundesliga outfit Augsburg in the third round of the DFB-Pokal.
The Bavarian giants are looking to defend the title they won last season as part their historic treble-winning campaign that also saw them lift the Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League trophies.
Their place in round three was secured courtesy of a 4-1 home rout of Hannover last Wednesday, with a double from Thomas Muller and strikes from Claudio Pizarro and Franck Ribery securing an emphatic win.
But Augsburg - who are seventh in the Bundesliga - will be hopeful of upsetting Pep Guardiola's men at the SGL Arena. Markus Weinzeirl's side breezed through the second round with a 3-0 success away to third-tier outfit Preussen Munster.
Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp will take his Borussia Dortmund side to the Ludwigsparkstadion to face third-division side Saarbrucken.
Dortmund currently lead the German top flight on goal difference from Bayern after racking up 21 goals in their first seven games, but needed extra time to see off Bundesliga 2 side 1860 Munchen 2-0 in the last round.
Other notable fixtures see all-Bundesliga ties between Schalke and Hoffenheim at the Veltins Arena, while strugglers Freiburg welcome Bayer Leverkusen to the Mage Solar Stadion.

Draw in full: Frankfurt v Sandhausen, Union Berlin v Kaiserslautern, Schalke v Hoffenheim, Saarbrucken v Borussia Dortmund, Hamburg v Cologne, Freiburg v Bayer Leverkusen, Augsburg v Bayern Munich, Wolfsburg v Ingolstadt
