DOLPHINS WANT FAIR PLAY

As Dolphins embark on a journey up north for two straight matches against Gombe United and El-Kanemi Warriors, Stanley Eguma has called for "fair play" in both games.
Despite the intimidating records of the their opponents at home, Eguma insists Dolphins can get something from the matches if there is good officiating and proper security.
He told supersport.com: "It is very possible for us to get something from Gombe and Maiduguri, because we have done it in the past.
"However, we are concerned about who will monitor the match in Maiduguri. Will the press even be there to see things for themselves?
"Here in Port Harcourt it is all about fair play. The officiating is very fair and that's what we expect in other venues.
"The players are determined to get the desired results knowing the importance and timing of these two games. We are close to the end of the league and every point is important."
He added: "If there is fair play in both matches, I feel we can get points from them."
Eguma also said that they are not kidding themselves about getting a continental slot, but are focused on maintaining their top flight status.
"I don't think it is possible to qualify for Africa considering our position on the NPFL log," he told supersport.com.
"That was our ambition at the start of the season, but it is not likely to happen.
"The most important thing is to ensure we maintain our place in the premier league and then try again next season."
Dolphins have drawn five and lost 11 of their 16 away matches.
The Port Harcourt side are eighth on the NPFL log with 33 points from 47 matches.
