Barcelona forward Neymar has played down concerns over his health, insisting that he feels "fine" despite being diagnosed with anaemia.
The condition was discovered after the Brazilian recently underwent an operation to remove his tonsils, but Barca officials moved quickly to allay fears about the welfare of a player who joined the club for around €57million in June.
The former Santos man has now also reiterated that stance, insisting that he is taking a full part in pre-season training with his new team-mates.
"I feel fine. I’ve improved after the operation and I’ve no problems training. I’m getting better," he told a press conference.
The 21-year-old also outlined his aims for his first season in Catalunya following his big-money move.
"I hope it’s going to be a special season. I want to do well and adapt really quickly. I have great expectations at Barcelona and want to win trophies," he added.
Neymar made his Barcelona debut in the 2-2 draw with Lechia Gdansk in Poland on July 30.
The Brazil international is also likely to feature when his new club take on Thailand on Wednesday.
