The 19-year-old has been signed by the Serie A club on the same day that attacker Adem Ljajic joins Roma as a replacement for Tottenham Hotspur-bound Erik Lamela.
Fiorentina announced the signing of Rebic, who was recently linked with Spurs, on their official Twitter account on Wednesday and he will join up with Vincenzo Montella’s side immediately.
A statement on the club’s website read: "Fiorentina announces it has acquired the rights to Ante Rebic on a five-year contract.
"The Croatian player has already made one appearance and scored once for his country's national team."
