IS ROONEY A REBEL?

Manchester united the undisputed champions of the heavyweight divisions in the UK. Legendary manager sir Alex Ferguson finally stepped down after what seemed like eternity, but having carefully chosen his successor Moyes, Fergie left the 50 year old Scot with a major dilemma: the Wayne Rooney issue. United have threatened, ranted, rattled England's finest but with little or no positive results to show for it. The happy one (Jose Mourinho) seemed to have spotted an opportunity to unsettle the EPL champions but the red devils have so far dismissed bids from Chelsea with a wave of the hand. Robin van Persie no doubt is the recognized striker at old trafford and the united hierarchy expect England's finest to step up to the challenge instead of grumbling. Rooney had earlier asked the club to show ambition in 2011 by bringing in some quality names which they have so far managed to attract(Kagawa, and Rvp). So what exactly is Rooney's problem? could Fergie have timed this scenario to perfection to allow Moyes prove himself to united fans and score a home run to the entire soccer community? but certainly time is not on the striker's side as he needs to boost his image among fans and grab regular playing time under his belt if he intends to convince Roy Hodgson that he is capable of leading the 3 lions strike force in Brazil next summer.
