CR7 DYNAMITE!!!

Cristiano Ronaldo left a young Bournemouth fan with a broken wrist after smashing a
35-yard free-kick wide of the mark during Real Madrid’s friendly with the Championship club.
Charlie Silverwood, 11, was watching the glamour friendly at Dean Court when the Portugal
captain rifled his effort into the stands.
Charlie’s dad spotted the danger of Ronaldo’s rocket and managed to duck out of the way, but
the schoolboy was struck flush on the arm by the ball, leaving his wrist broken in two places.
Despite his injury, Charlie stayed behind to watch the remaining 84 minutes before heading to
hospital, where he learned the extent of the damage left by the Real striker’s wayward attempt.
Charlie was X-rayed and required an operation before his arm was placed in a cast that will
stay on for six weeks.
But rather than letting his injury dampen the rare opportunity of seeing superstars like Gonzalo
Higuain, Luka Modric and Mesut Ozil turn out in Dorset, Charlie remains upbeat about the
souvenir left by the £80million striker.
‘It was very painful,’ Charlie told The Sun . ‘I’ve told friends and they cannot believe it.
Ronaldo is the world’s most expensive player – and he broke my arm.
