The management of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side,
ABS have placed their players and coaches on half salaries pending when
they improve on their performance in the ongoing season.
The Ilorin-based club have also given a three-match ultimatum to the coaching crew led by Kabir Dogo.
Supersport.com gathered that the club's financier, Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki is furious with his wards' lacklustre performance which saw them being forced to a 2-2 home draw on Sunday by Wikki Tourists in an NPFL week 26 encounter.
“We took the decision because of the 2-2 home draw we played on Sunday against Wikki Tourists.
“The players and the coaching crew must now tighten their belts or face the consequence of being thrown out of the team,” Bashir Jimoh who is the club's spokesman said to supersport.com.
ABS will definitely have a difficult tie this weekend in their premier League week 27 game as the Saraki Boys will be visitors to Bayelsa United who lost 0-2 at 3SC last wednesday.
