KHENYEZA'S 12 MONTH BAN OVERTURNED

Mpumalanga Black Aces striker Mabhuti Khenyeza has won his appeal against a 12-month ban and the player can now focus on his career, the club has announced.
Khenyeza was initially slapped with the suspension by the Premier Soccer League disciplinary committee for allegedly swearing and spitting at assistant referee Zakhele Siwela. The incident happened when the striker was playing for Ajax Cape Town against Mamelodi Sundowns on April 2.
"We are very pleased with the ruling and now hope the player will assist Aces in our 2013/14 season. He can now focus on football matters on the pitch and put this saga behind him," said George Morfou, Aces co-chairman in an interview published on the club’s official website.
Details of the ruling are sketchy at the moment and the full verdict of the outcome will be revealed in due course.
"We would like to thank the PSL for their professional way in which this case has been handled," said Morfou who was relieved that Khenyeza, who is a clinical finisher, will now form an integral part of Clive Barkers squad.
Meanehile, Aces also confirmed the loaning out of six players to various National First Division (NFD) clubs for the 2013/14 season. Midfielder Phetolo Sekome has been transferred to Jomo Cosmos on a season-long loan deal while Phetolo Lebepe and Themba Njwaga will be joining FC Cape Town also on one-year loan agreements.
Winger Khotso Chabeli, who was on loan at Baroka FC when the Limpopo outfit gained promotion to the NFD via the Safa national promotion play-offs last season, will spend another year at the NFD rookies, Baroka.
Defender Asanda Mvalo and midfielder Sibusiso Themba will join Chabeli at Baroka, also on one-year loan agreements.
"Black Aces would like to wish all the players everything of the best at their new clubs. They have all carried themselves as true professionals and all formed part of the Aces’ promotion journey back to the Absa Premiership. We will be monitoring their performances and hope they get valuable game time in order to again return to the Aces 1st team squad," said the club in a statement.
