LIGUE 1 WRAP UP

Thiago Silva's own goal cost Paris Saint-Germain the chance to extend their lead at the top of Ligue 1 as they were held 1-1 by Monaco.

After Javier Pastore had put PSG ahead at the Stade Louis II with a close-range header in the eighth minute, it looked as though the visitors were on course for an important victory in the title race.

However, Thiago Silva accidentally diverted a Fabinho cross into his own net with 16 minutes to go, gifting Claudio Ranieri's side a point and leaving the gap at the top of the table at five points.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, normally PSG's match-winner, did his best to earn the leaders a victory but the four chances he had were well saved by Danijel Subasic, including one in the final minute that the goalkeeper did brilliantly to hold on to.

Meanwhile, Lyon moved into sixth place with a 2-1 victory over Nantes on Sunday, sending their opponents to a fourth defeat in their last five matches in all competitions.

Alexandre Lacazette opened the scoring for Remi Garde's side in the 40th minute, with Bafetimbi Gomis doubling their lead from the penalty spot with 14 minutes to play.

Filip Djordjevic pulled one back for Nantes in the 84th minute with his first goal in 956 minutes of Ligue 1 football, but his game was soon over after he was dismissed for a second yellow card two minutes later.

The mid-table clash between Bordeaux and Lorient was postponed before kick-off due to heavy rain that caused a waterlogged pitch at the Stade Jacques Chaban-Delmas.
