Lionel Messi missed a penalty but then followed up to calmly tap in the rebound and finally end Atletico Madrid's obdurate resistance at the Nou Camp in the Copa del Rey quarter-final first leg on Wednesday night. The Argentine stepped up to the spot after Sergio Busquets went down under a challenge from Juanfran. His penalty was poor and was expertly saved by Jan Oblak but Messi turned in the follow-up. Luis Enrique's men will now head to the Vicente Calderon next week with a slender one-goal advantage
