FERDINAND WONT RETIRE AT END OF SEASON

Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has revealed that he has no plans to retire for another "two or three" years.

Ferdinand is out of contract at the end of the season, and with a new deal yet to be agreed, there was some talk of the centre-back hanging up his boots.

However, Ferdinand, who has made 21 appearances this season, has insisted that he is hopeful of continuing his career until 2017.
